Once you reach level 7 you will have the option of learning some basic Crafting skills. Looting skills are considered a part of the crafting system in Archlord, so you will have to find the Adventurer NPC for your town.

The first Crafting skill available to you will be Ransacking, which allows you to take items off of corpses. At higher levels you will be able to learn Skinning and Carving which will improve the quality of the items you receive. All looting skills require that you possess a Gathering Knife, which allows you to cut items away when necessary.
