Once the proud race of Elves, the Moon Elves fused their bodies with evil spirits in a vain pursuit of power. Their bodies mutated granting the magic they sought, and also strength, agility, and enhance perceptions. But these new powers could not save them during the Great War, and when all but a few of their men had been destroyed the curse brought by the spirits revealed itself.

When all Moon Elf men armed themselves, and set out to fight in the Great War, didn’t consider the possibility that so few would return. When they did return, the very few who survived the wars, the women forbade them to return to combat for any reason. The population, so reduced, needed replenishment, and there weren’t enough left to complete the job. The few remaining, warped by dark magic could only sire daughters. The women stretched out into the world in search of other potential mates.

Their graceful and supple bodies allow Moon Elf rangers to quickly traverse terrain inaccessible to other. With unparalleled speed and precision, Moon Elves make the deadliest rangers on Chantra. Moon Elf Elementalists amplify the natural elements with the magic granted to them by dark spirits. Their unholy affinity for magic allows them to wield greater powers than any other race.
