The state of physical, mental and social being is called health. Physical well being and health of a person depends on regular exercise, proper diet, proper rest and nutrition. An individual’s emotional and psychological well being makes up for his/her mental health. Some of the features which tell us that an individual is healthy are:

One’s own personal hygiene should be maintained by taking care of cleanliness, physical exercise, rest and sleep. Personal cleanliness is the most important of all the aforementioned habits. Hands and skin should be kept clean by taking regular showers. Hair should be washed and combed regularly. Teeth should be brushed twice a day. Eyes and ears should be kept clean.
